Regalo – Turning a Local Pastry Into a Beer Story

An interview-led social launch film for Regalo – a pastry stout created by Oitava Colina in collaboration with HopSin and Casa do Preto (known for Queijadas de Sintra). The goal was simple: turn heritage and flavour into a story that sells.

Client: Oitava Colina x HopSin x Casa do Preto Format: Video for Socials Role: Strategy + Filming + Editing Location: Lisbon

Overview

Regalo was built on an unusual (and very Portuguese) hook: a pastry stout made with Queijadas de Sintra. Instead of relying on specs, the film uses real voices – two brewers and the owner of Casa do Preto – plus brewing behind-the-scenes and a clean packshot to land the product.

  • Founder + maker interviews for credibility
  • Brewing BTS to add texture and proof
  • Packshot ending to convert curiosity into intent

What I Delivered

  • Main launch video optimized for social platforms (in two languages)
  • Interview capture + run-and-gun sound setup
  • Brewing BTS photo set (process, details, moments)
  • Product packshot (video + photo) for re-use across posts and pages

One campaign asset, built to feed multiple touchpoints.

Why This Format Works

Story that sells

Turning a local pastry into a liquid product story makes the collaboration instantly understandable. The interviews carry the narrative, while the visuals do the proof-of-work – flavour, craft, and context in one piece.

Distribution-ready

A clean interview-led video + strong packshots is easy to repurpose, and it travels well outside social – including coverage across online media – because it has a clear angle and human voices behind the product.
