Every project is quoted individually — there are no fixed packages, because they rarely match what a project actually needs.

The filming side is driven by the gear a shoot calls for, how many people are needed on set, and whether anything has to go out live or same-day. Beyond that, a lot of the cost sits in the edit — which is also where much of the value is: planning for more deliverables from the same shoot is one of the best ways to stretch a budget.

It depends on scope, but we agree timelines up front. A same-day or next-day social clip is usually doable when it's planned in; highlight films typically land within days; larger packages a bit longer.

For press or time-sensitive footage I'm used to fast turnarounds — say so and I'll work to it.

Most jobs I run solo — it keeps things fast, consistent and easy to deal with: you work directly with the person filming and editing.

For bigger stages or multi-camera setups I bring in a trusted crew. You get the standards of someone who films for broadcast, with one point of contact.

I'd want to — and I think it matters. Filming is only half of it; whether a video lands is mostly decided earlier, in the story and the structure.

So I like being in from the start, shaping the angle and the questions. It's optional — I'm happy to work to a script you already have — but being involved early is how we avoid the rehearsed, robotic result.

Yes — and in many cases without arranging anything first: I hold a valid annual accreditation for the EU institutions and NATO, so I can often go straight in rather than waiting on a one-off badge.

I film for EU-funded projects and consortia, and I cover EU politics as a cameraman for broadcast television.

Yes — versioned edits, subtitles and captions across EU languages, with clean original-language audio captured so versioning stays clean. I’m comfortable working across several EU languages and can handle transcription and translation for a first pass.

One honest note: any translation into a language I don’t speak should be signed off by a native or local speaker before it goes out — often there’s a translator within the consortium we can work with. Tell me the languages and formats and I’ll build it into the plan.

Yes — that's a core part of what I do. Correspondents and production companies book me as a local camera operator in Brussels, or as a second camera alongside their own team.

Most of the time it's either video or photography on a given day, because doing both justice at a busy event is hard. If you genuinely need both from one day I can sometimes stretch to it, but it's the exception — worth talking through the trade-offs first.
