Brand — aftermovie for BBP’s own craft beer festival

BBP Wanderlust — A Festival Bottled in Two Minutes

Every year, Brussels Beer Project throws Wanderlust — its own craft beer festival, doubling as the brewery’s birthday party. For one September weekend Place Sainte-Catherine (St Kat) fills up: guest breweries under a transparent arch, beer passports stamped at every tap, live bands beneath giant marquee letters, DJs after dark — and, often enough, crowdsurfing. Two days, condensed into the official aftermovie.

Overview

Wanderlust was Brussels Beer Project at full volume: a two-day craft beer festival doubling as the brewery’s birthday party, with guest brewers pouring side by side, tasting passports, concerts and DJ sets carrying the square from grey afternoon into the night.

My job was to bring all of it back in two minutes — the toasts, the stamps, the deckchairs, the dancing — an aftermovie that works as both a memory for the people who were there and an invitation for the ones who weren’t.

What I Delivered

  • The official aftermovie — filmed and edited, two days condensed into two minutes
  • Coverage across the whole festival: tastings, guest brewers, concerts, DJ sets, day and night
  • An edit built around the festival’s identity — the colours, the glasses, the marquee letters
  • Delivered ready for BBP’s channels and next-edition promotion

Why This Piece Matters

An aftermovie sells the next edition

The best marketing for a festival is proof of the last one. Two minutes of real energy does more than any poster — it makes people want to be in the next crowd.

Shot to be cut

Filming an event solo means editing in your head all day — collecting beginnings, middles and reactions so the timeline builds itself. That’s how two days fit into two minutes.
