At the European Innovation Council Summit in Brussels, I filmed a full day for Dealflow.eu — nine one-on-one interviews on a branded set, plus the panels, keynotes and venue coverage for the event’s wrap-up film. Full production on the technical side; questions led by the client’s interviewer; and the clock always running — most guests were panelists, due on stage minutes later.
The European Innovation Council Summit gathers Europe’s deep-tech ecosystem — founders, investors and policymakers — for two intense days in Brussels. For Dealflow.eu, I filmed the day end to end: nine one-on-one interviews on a branded set, and the coverage that becomes the event’s wrap-up film.
Everything was organised and delivered by the end of the day, ready for the client’s edit — the final films are being cut now, and will be featured here once they’re out.
Nine guests in tight windows, most of them due on stage minutes later. Fast isn’t rushed — it’s a calm setup, a comfortable guest and no wasted takes. It’s also the detail clients tend to mention afterwards; interviewing people myself on other productions taught me how much a guest at ease changes the result.
When someone else edits, discipline is the deliverable: consistent framing, clean audio, footage organised so the editor can cut without me in the room.
